“When we started working with Hursthouse, our goal was to look out and see green. We wanted to create something pretty to see from inside the house that also would be easy to maintain. The results actually exceeded our expectations.

“Bob built a wide, elegant stairway going down to the lower level and totally opened up the back patio, bringing tons of light into the family room. That’s made a huge impact; it used to feel like a dark dungeon, and now it’s really open and sunny. The hedge and wrought-iron fence create privacy in the front yard, and the paving stone and grass grid with the water feature are lovely. We can open the French doors during parties so people can stroll outside, which we couldn’t do before. And we love the climbing hydrangea on the garage and how he mimicked details from our front door on the trellis. The outdoor lighting is wonderful too.
